Love Is the Thing, is Nat King Cole's fifteenth studio album. It was released in August of 1958.

This album was arranged by Nelson Riddle, and was the first installment of three albums Cole released throughout his career, the other two being A Mis Amigos and More Cole Español. Nelson Riddle and his orchestra recorded the songs featured in this album in Havana, Cuba, but Cole added the vocals to them from Laas Angeles, California 5 months later.
