Johnny Miller is a bassist that Nat King Cole hired to work with the King Cole Trio in 1943.

Around the time of World War II, Wesley Prince left the trio. Red Callendar filled in for a few recordings until Miller joined as a permenant member of the trio. He played on the groups most popular recordings, contibuting solid bass work and joining in on the group vocals during some numbers. He left in 1948, a year after Oscar Moore departed.
