Love Is the Thing, is Nat King Cole's fourteenth studio album, released in the spring of 1957.
This album was Cole's first work with Gordon Jenkins. This album, in 1960, achieved gold status, and in 1992, this album was certified platinum status. The album was primarily given high reviews, sometimes reviewed as one of the best of both Cole and Jenkins.
This album was re-released in 1991, containing three bonus tracks: "Someone to Tell It To," "The End of a Love Affair," and "If Love Ain't There." This version of the album was released again in 1996, and again in 2007. This latter release contained the album Where Did Everyone Go?
