Nat King Cole at the Piano is Nat King Cole's fifth studio album, but is the first non "King Cole Trio" album released by Cole and his trio.
The album was recorded on a single day, August 13th, 1947, and was first released two years later. A 10" LP was later released by Capitol Records in 1950.
