The Very Thought of You, is Nat King Cole's sixteenth studio album, released in late 1958.
The Very Thought of You, arranged by Gordon Jenkins, was one of Cole's highest rated albums in his central career. The album gave Cole several of hits including Jenkin's "This Is All I Ask," "For All We Know," and the the title track.
The Very Thought of You was re-released in 2007 on audio CD as well. This edition of the album featured the original track listing as well as four bonus tracks. These tracks included: "Don't Blame Me," "There is No Greater Love," "Farewell to Arms," and "Happy New Year."
